The Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is enhancing its asset management program to promote effective usage of financial and physical resources, to develop a proactive approach to asset management, and to build confidence in future financial and resource planning efforts. In order to support this endeavor, MPU requested that Kayuga assess asset management practices and develop a roadmap for improvement. Benchmarking against ISO asset management best practices, Kayuga took a comprehensive look at MPU’s asset management program to gain an understanding of what it is doing well and what improvements can be made.
