As one of the world's leading organizations in asset management, the Port of Rotterdam constantly strives to improve. As part of this effort, the Port of Rotterdam decided to develop an asset management system that incorporates condition data to proactively provide maintenance and/or rehabilitation to optimize the life-cycle cost of ownership while minimizing the overall risk.

Port of Rotterdam partnered with Kayuga to jointly develop and test the asset management system. Incorporating the most recent field condition data, the asset management system will estimate the remaining useful life and project future work and budget necessary to sustain the delivery of services in an optimized manner.  

The Port's asset management system is a highly-informative visual dashboard that incorporates the most recent data from the Port's SAP, ESRI, and other systems that capture asset information. The system projects the future asset Rehabilitation and Replacement (R&R) needs, highlights high-risk assets, calculates the appropriate budget required to mitigate the high-risk assets, and identifies assets estimated to required rehabilitation or replacement year-by-year.
